I’m a retired teacher from the Prairie South School Division. I obtained my Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Regina with a major in
English. During my 30 year teaching career, I taught high school language arts, was a teacher-librarian, and an elementary school classroom teacher.
In addition to tutoring at Prairie Basic, I am also currently a substitute teacher here in Moose Jaw. During my professional career, I have had the opportunity to teach students from pre-kindergarten to grade 12! My philosophy of education is that every child can learn and thrive in a supportive and safe environment. I enjoy the opportunity to work one-on-one with students and my tutoring sessions are tailored to each student’s individual needs. At every opportunity I incorporate play-based skills.
